Prolapse, hip or low back pain, leaks, vulvar pain, pain with penetration, or other pelvic floor issues impacting your well being? Join Missi Rossi for a 3-hour workshop to learn how to support your pelvic floor through asana, breathwork, and more.

In this workshop style class, we’ll learn:

Basics on the anatomy and function of the pelvic floor

The connection between the pelvic floor and the nervous system

How to customize yoga postures typically seen in yoga classes to support your pelvic floor

Breathwork and meditation tools to support pelvic health

How to use the chakra system as a guiding structure for working with pelvic floor issues. 

You’ll leave with tips on how to support yourself and your pelvic floor, whether at home or in the studio.

Missi Rossi is a yoga teacher new to Crozet, VA, and founder of Yoga for Vaginismus, a mind-body-spirit approach to helping humans with vaginismus move from pain to power. A former dancer, Missi has personally benefited from the healing power of movement from a young age and enjoys integrating a variety of modalities and perspectives into her teaching. She has 200-hour certifications from CorePower Yoga. She has also studied with Tiffany Cruikshank and team at Yoga Medicine, pelvic floor yoga expert Leslie Howard, yoga for the female body expert Adelaide Meadow, Tantra practitioner Layla Martin, somatic practitioner and sexological bodyworker Kimberly Anne Johnson, and PT and pelvic floor yoga teacher Melissa Oleson.
