Yoga for Tweens

Yoga for Tweens: 4-Week Series (Ages 8-12)

This fun and supportive 4-week series is designed especially for tweens who are growing, changing, and learning more about themselves every day. Through movement, breath, and mindfulness, students will build strength, confidence, and emotional awareness in a welcoming, non-competitive space.

Each class blends yoga poses, gentle stretching, games, relaxation, and simple mindfulness tools to help tweens feel calm, focused, and connected—both on and off the mat. We’ll explore ways to manage stress, improve balance and coordination, and support healthy body image during these important developmental years.

Weekly Themes

Week 1: Strong & Steady – Building confidence, balance, and body awareness

Week 2: Calm & Focused – Breathing tools and mindfulness for stress and big emotions

Week 3: Kind & Connected – Self-esteem, compassion, and positive self-talk

Week 4: Relax & Recharge – Restorative yoga, relaxation, and confidence they can take home
